Research area Sustainable Economy - Ethics and Transformation
The research area was established at the Department of Accounting and Reporting in 2012. Following on from the informal research group Companies & Society, it deals with issues relating to the social embedding and responsibility of companies.

- Growth-neutral companies
- Regional resilience
- Alternatives to economic value calculation (GDP)
- Political framework conditions for corporate responsibility and corporate sustainability
- Organizational culture and socio-moral climate
- Sustainable lifestyles and ethical consumption
- Responsible management as a subject of management consulting
The work of the department is closely linked to the teaching activities within the SBWL Business Ethics and Corporate Responsibility Management at the Departement.
