• Conceptual and empirical research on success factors in the process of internationalization; the empirical studies are primarily conducted using quantitative methods, in particular structural equation models (PLS, LISREL), with particular attention paid to a robust operationalization of formative and reflective variables; however, qualitative approaches are also used to a lesser extent

• Critical analysis of the management discourse (primarily using qualitative and discourse-critical research approaches)
